Applications are invited from interested and qualified candidates, who wish to be considered for scholarship awards for undergraduate studies, vocational/technical education and religious studies for the 2026/2027 academic year, tenable in Algeria.
ELIGIBILITY:
Candidates must satisfy the following:
a) Be Ghanaian citizens resident in Ghana
b) Have completed their Senior High School education with current result (i.e. year 2025).
c) Must have obtained an aggregate score of not more than 13
d) Not be more than twenty-three (23) years of age.
e) Must have a genuine birth certificate
f) Must have Passport
SCHOLARSHIP CATEGORIES
1. ACADEMIC DISCIPLINES: University Education (Undergraduate studies)
Science and Technology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Architecture, Medicine, Veterinary Sciences, Dentistry, Agricultural Sciences, Pharmacy, Urban Planning
2. VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TECHNICAL TRAINING (2 years Professional Certificate)
Graphic Design Layout Artist, Senior Technician in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Industrial Maintenance, Quality Control and Processing of Dairy Products, Computer Science (data base management, web and mobile application developer), Computer Systems and Networks (Cybersecurity), Automative Mechatronics
3. RELIGIOUS STUDIES (3 years Imam Training)
Interested applicants must demonstrate good command of spoken and written Arabic, full or partial memorization of the Holy Quran.
4. MASTERS IN ISLAMIC STUDIES (2 years)
Admission to this programme requires a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification in one of the following fields: Islamic Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, Law and Political Science, Arabic Language and Literature.
All successful candidates will be required to undergo one year French language training after which they will be offered their main course of study.

ii. Create account and register under the “Algerian Government Scholarship”
iii. After the online application, print out the application form and submit to the Ghana Scholarships Authority with copies of the following documents WASSCE result-slips, Birth Certificates, and Transcript. The Master’s category applicants must attach copies of their degree certificates and transcripts.
